Gutter cleaning services in Sonora and Tuolumne County

Our gutter cleaning services come in three kinds of work: cleaning the gutters and downspouts, clearing needles and debris off the roof, and cleaning gutters that have guards on them. When your house needs more than one, we do them together on one visit. We look first, free, and give you one price for the whole house before any work starts.

Three kinds of work, often on one visit

Each one has its own page with what it includes, how we price it and the questions people ask about it.

  • Gutter and downspout cleaning

Clogged gutters scooped out and downspouts flushed

Every gutter on the house scooped out by hand and every downspout flushed until water runs out the bottom.

    • Every run of gutter emptied by hand and bagged
    • Downspouts flushed with a hose, and cleared when they are packed

For gutters that spill over in a storm or downspouts that will not drain.

  • Roof needle and debris removal

Pine needles and leaves cleared off the roof and valleys

Needles and leaves left on the roof wash into the gutters with the next rain, so we clear the roof as well.

    • Valleys, where two slopes meet and needles pile up
    • Around skylights, solar panels and the chimney

For roofs under pines and oaks, before the gutters and before fire season.

  • Gutter guard cleaning

Guards lifted, the gutters under them cleaned, guards put back

Guards cut the cleaning under pines but do not end it, so we lift the guards you have, clear what is packed under them and put them back.

    • Guard sections lifted or unclipped, and put back the way they were
    • Needles and grit cleared from under the guards, downspouts flushed

For gutters that already have guards, and for advice on guards under pines.

Which service do you need?

Start with what you see from the ground. Water spilling over the edge or a dry downspout points to a cleaning, needles piled on the roof point to roof clearing, and guarded gutters that still spill or fill under the pines point to gutter guard cleaning. Not sure? We look and tell you.

What we do not do

Some gutter and roof work is not ours. We are not a licensed contractor, so when the house needs a repair or new work, we say so on the estimate and tell you who to call, rather than guess at a fix.

  • Fitting or replacing gutter guards
  • Resealing leaking seams and corners
  • Rehanging or re-sloping sagging gutters
  • Taking gutters down or putting new ones up
  • Adding downspouts
  • Clearing buried drain lines
  • Roofing and roof repairs
  • Pressure washing
  • Snow removal and steaming ice dams

What we do instead

  • Tell you what we saw up there: leaks, sags, loose hangers or soft boards
  • Clean gutters that have guards and put the guards back, with gutter guard cleaning
  • Tell you when to call a licensed gutter contractor

How a visit goes

The same four steps for every service, and for all three together.

  1. You call or send the form

Somebody picks up. Or send the form and we call back, usually within the hour.

  2. We look at the house

The estimate is free, usually the same day or the next. You get one price for the whole house before work starts.

  3. We do the work

Roof first when it needs it, then the gutters by hand, under any guards, and every downspout flushed.

  4. We haul it away

Every bag leaves with us, and we walk you through anything we found.

Questions about our services

What people ask before they pick a service. Something else on your mind? Call and ask.

Call (209) 213-4295
Can you do the roof and the gutters on the same visit?

Yes. We clear the roof first, then scoop the gutters and flush the downspouts, so what comes off the roof does not end up back in a clean gutter. It is one visit and one price for the whole house.

I am not sure which service I need. What should I ask for?

Ask for a free estimate and tell us what you are seeing. We look at the gutters, the downspouts and the roof, tell you what the house needs, and give you one price before any work starts.

Do you do roofing, pressure washing or snow removal?

No. We clear roofs and gutters, including gutters with guards, but we do not fit guards, repair gutters or roofs, pressure wash, remove snow or steam ice dams. Ask anyway, and we tell you who can.

Which towns do you work in?

Sonora and the towns around it: Jamestown, Columbia, Tuolumne, Soulsbyville, Twain Harte and Mi-Wuk Village. Our page on gutter cleaning service areas in Tuolumne County has each one. Somewhere else in the county? Call and ask.
