Gutter cleaning service areas in Tuolumne County
Our gutter cleaning crew is based in Sonora and works in seven Tuolumne County towns, from Jamestown up Highway 108 to Mi-Wuk Village. What fills your gutters changes on the way up the hill: oak leaves in late fall down low, pine needles most of the year higher up, and snow in the high country. Every town gets the same free estimate and one price for the whole house.
The foothill towns: oaks, with pines mixed in
The county's wildfire plan maps the low foothills as oak savanna, with gray pine among the oaks, and ponderosa pines grow there too. The deciduous oaks drop their leaves in November and December, just before the wettest months.

Jamestown
Jamestown is three miles south of Sonora, home to Railtown 1897 State Historic Park and its steam-era roundhouse. Under its oaks, our gutter and downspout cleaning waits until the leaves are down in late November, then flushes every downspout before the January storms.

Sonora
Inside city limits, Sonora's own Chapter 8.12 lists roofs and gutters among the places to keep clear, and the Sonora Fire Department inspects. Outside them, in the places named below, state law PRC 4291 and CAL FIRE take over.
Also: East Sonora, Phoenix Lake, Sonora Meadows, Crystal Falls and Standard
-
Columbia
Columbia's town center, three miles north of Sonora, is mapped Very High fire hazard, the top rating on the state's map. We clean gutters with guards there, and tell you whether a metal mesh guard, the noncombustible kind CAL FIRE suggests, would help your house.
Also: Springfield, Shaw's Flat and Tuttletown

Tuolumne
Tuolumne is about seven miles out Tuolumne Road from Mono Way, a lumber town since the West Side Flume and Lumber Company started there in 1899. Where pines hang over a roof, needles fall from late September into January, so our roof needle and debris removal goes with the gutters.
-
Soulsbyville
Soulsbyville began as a Gold Rush mining town, named for Ben Soulsby. Its town center is mapped High fire hazard, so we keep roofs and gutters clear of the dry leaves and needles that embers can light.
Up the hill: pines, fir and snow
Higher up Highway 108, the county's wildfire plan maps mixed conifer: ponderosa and sugar pine, Douglas-fir, white fir, incense cedar and black oak. Needles fall most of the year and winter brings regular snow, which changes when to clean gutters.
-
Twain Harte
Many Twain Harte homes are seasonal cabins, empty for part of the year, so a full gutter can spill through a storm with nobody there to see it. Owners who live out of the area do not need to be there: we set up the estimate by phone and do the cleaning while you are away.
Also: Brentwood Park, Lakewood and Cedar Ridge
-
Mi-Wuk Village
Mi-Wuk Village has its own fire protection district, whose volunteers do home inspections. Up here needles and snow arrive together, so the cleaning that counts is the one before the first snow.

Service area questions
Somewhere else in Tuolumne County?
We are based in Sonora and work across the county. Call and tell us where the house is, and we will tell you straight away if we can get there.
Call (209) 213-4295Which towns do you clean gutters in?
Seven Tuolumne County towns: Jamestown, Sonora, Columbia, Tuolumne, Soulsbyville, Twain Harte and Mi-Wuk Village, and the places around them, such as East Sonora and Phoenix Lake. We are based in Sonora. If your town is not listed, call and ask.
Does gutter cleaning cost more up the hill?
We price each house, not each town, after a free look: its height, the roof, how long the gutters run, how packed they are and whether the downspouts drain. Gutters packed with needles take longer, and up the hill they often are.
How often do gutters need cleaning here?
Twice a year for most homes, everywhere we work: in late fall once the leaves are down, and in spring before fire season. Rarely more, and only when a hard storm season fills them again. It depends on the trees over your roof and the storms, and on the free estimate we tell you how often we would clean yours.
